Since July, Meridiana has been in Mauro's hands. The place is just as you know it: what has changed is the way the bar is run. Fewer things, done better — and drinks only.

Cocktails
Classics made with precision, plus a few of our own. Good ice, right measures, no shortcuts.
Beer on tap
Three taps always running: a lager, a wheat beer, an abbey ale. Cold, and poured as they should be.
Wine and sparkling wine
A wall of labels, by the glass or by the bottle.
Aperitivo
From 6pm, when the seafront slows down and the evening begins.
Alcohol-free
Looked after as carefully as the cocktails: the driver is never left out.

The terrace under the pines, the lights on, the bar in full swing. This is the hour worth being here for — and the one thing you'll miss if you don't drop in.
Come by bike,
leave by bike
From September, Meridiana's bike hire passes to Logonovo Bike, already established in Comacchio. Take a bike here and you are straight onto the Ciclabile degli Angeli cycle path, a few steps from the bar: the lagoons, the pine forest and the neighbouring resorts all linked up, without ever needing the car.
And next year a pizzeria opens: same address, same spirit. Until then, the bar pours drinks and nothing else.

- Da Lido degli Estensi a few minutes by bike along the canal. From Porto Garibaldi, Scacchi, Pomposa, Nazioni e Volano follow the main road south.
